Cutting foods? You might be missing the real problem
A lot of people come to me feeling stuck with their diet — so they start cutting things out. Carbs, sugar, entire food groups... gone.
But here's the thing: in most cases, the issue isn't what you're eating too much of — it's what you're not getting enough of.
Before you cut anything, consider this:
Most people aren't eating enough protein to stay full and fuel their goals
Fibre is often too low — which affects digestion, hunger, and energy
Are you drinking at least 2L of water per day? If not, then this can contribute to cravings
Cutting carbs can actually leave you more tired, moody, and craving sugar
Sugar isn't always the enemy — it's often a symptom of a lacking diet
The fix? Try adding before subtracting. You'll be surprised how much easier everything feels when your body's actually getting what it needs.
